At our offices in Hirschegg/Kleinwalsertal and Sulzberg/Kempten, we develop and produce our camera systems for sewage inspection.

UK Technical Support / Sales Engineer

Purpose of job:

The main requirement of the post is to provide a high level of technical support for the company’s UK based customers.

This job description summarises the work content and nature of the post and its role in the organisation. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Establishing and further developing the company’s reputation as provider of high quality products and ‘added value’ technical support.
  • High technical competence of the company’s products.
  • Develop and maintain good personal relationships with users of the company’s products.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate the company’s products, and to help promote their sale.
  • Ability to effectively train on the use of the company’s products, to promote their best use.
  • Attendance at meetings and assistance in presentations of the company’s products with the UK Sales and Business Development Manager.
  • Identification of opportunities for potential sales.
  • Ability to provide a basic service and maintenance of the company’s products to the UK customers.

The post holder will be required to liaise with:

A high level of customer interaction is required, involving commercial decision making in some instances.

All levels of personnel including Senior Management

Essential professional/technical skills/qualifications required before employment:

The successful candidate will have the ability to work unsupervised in a demanding role, with excellent communication skills.  Previous experience is required and you must be committed to the developing the business.  

Computer Literate, experience of data entry, Excel and Word plus WINCAN would be an advantage

Desirable professional/technical skills/qualifications required before employment:

In support of the above duties the post holder requires high levels of knowledge across the company’s product range and knowledge of the sewerage industry or products used within the industry.

Understanding of financial aspects of commercial decision making.

Essential qualifications/training required for position:

PC Literate in Advanced Word, Excel

The post is currently based at:

Home with regular travel across the UK & Ireland

A “no smoking” policy operates throughout the working environment
